When your operation purchases or leases Orca Green, you eliminate all the food scrap and waste from going into the normal trash stream. Instead, within 24 hours, the "garbage" becomes a harmless "compost tea" that can be disposed of in a simple, environmentally friendly way.
The Orca Green revolutionizes the typical trash haul, greatly reducing the attraction of rodents, and the trash bill itself. In addition, compostable utensils, dinner and drinkware can be added to the machine, in proper proportions to the food scrap, and become part of the resulting tea.
Closed loop through authorized Compost Sites.
Step 1. Say goodbye to plastic, Styrofoam™ and virgin paper. We’ll provide you with 100% compostable dinner and drink ware, lids, straws, containers, utensils and can liners, along with 100% recycled thermal sleeves and napkins.
Step 2. When trash is being thrown out or collected, very simple instructions will ensure that the compostable products are put in the specially marked bins (lined with a compostable bag).
Step 3. Then, when the trash is hauled, these special bags will NOT go to the landfill – instead they will go to an authorized composter and will be literally “folded” into a windrow (generally a large pile of leaves and other natural organic matter).
Step 4. The composter will continue to rotate the layers of material in these windrows, and in a matter of months, the combination of heat, moisture and bacteria will break down the products into a very rich compost, which local landscapers and gardeners will put to good use.
The result: That’s why we call it a closed loop. Your trash never really became trash at all. It was merely fuel for the natural process of composting.
